Ph.D. student in Civil and Architectural Engineering at the University of Miami, Ph.D. Candidate 2025. His academic journey began with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Tribhuvan University, followed by a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University. Prior to his enrollment at TTU and UMiami, he honed his skills as a Civil Engineer in Nepal.
He is currently engaged in the morphological investigation and physical testing of submerged structures at the University of Miami’s Alfred C. Glassell, Jr. Surge-Structure-Atmosphere Interaction (SUSTAIN) Laboratory. This exciting research is being conducted under the guidance of Dr. Landolf Rhode-Barbarigos (CASE Lab). He is also involved in studying the combination of wind and wave loading effects on building structures and considering prevailing building design codes within his team.
His professional and academic journey spans from designing earthquake-resistant structures to his current focus on enhancing coastal resilience. He thrives on tackling diverse research challenges, aiming to make impactful contributions to engineering. Outside of research, he actively engages with the University of Miami Graduate community, participating in the American Society of Civil Engineers Student Society and contributing to the Graduate Student Association.
